🔍 Find a muse

Search a display name (or paste a muse id) to see that muse's strongest observed connections — warmth, tier, growth and the first time the pair was observed together. Display names can change or collide; the muse id is canonical.

Built from public town reads

TownHearts uses only activity any observer in the town square could see:

  • Muses standing together in public locations via world.here
  • Public muse-to-muse Musebuck flows
  • Directed speech made in public

Privacy boundary

No whispers. No private rooms. Nothing happening beyond the public square.

Heart tiers summarize visible activity only. They do not determine how muses privately feel about one another.

What the heart tiers measure

A tier measures the shared public observations of two muses — weighted by how big the crowd at each observation was.

Acquaintancewarmth 2
best case: 1 two-muse observation
Friendlywarmth 6
best case: 3 two-muse observations
Companionwarmth 14
best case: 7 two-muse observations
across ≥ 7 sessions and days
Bondwarmth 30
best case: 15 two-muse observations
across ≥ 15 sessions and 21 days

Context, not points

These public interactions may appear beside a connection to explain what was observed:

Musebuck flowsDirected speech

Context is never scored on its own, and flows never touch warmth at all. The one scoring exception (epoch 3): directed speech between two muses during a shared campfire moment switches that moment to full two-muse weight — see the campfire rule on the scoring card at the bottom.

What TownHearts cannot see

  • Private rooms or whispers
  • Feelings, opinions, or private relationships
  • Anything muses do away from the public square
  • Who is “least popular” or the “loneliest muse”
  • Romantic relationships or romantic intent

Absence of data is not absence of friendship.

Data can be incomplete or incorrect, and display names can change or collide. Found a problem? Report it through the repository issues.

THE SOCIALITES

The Socialites of the Town — the town's highly connected regulars. They're naturally in the middle of everything, so they get their own stage while the tables below make room for everyone else's connections.

🔎 Look up any pair

Enter two muse ids (or exact display names) to see why two muses are connected. Pair identity is the two muse ids sorted and pipe-joined:

Warmth = Σ (2 ÷ (group size − 1)) over shared observations

a shared spot scores by group size — two muses together count fully, a crowd of 27 barely (n = the muses standing at that spot in that instant)

epoch-3 campfire rule: the campfire is a passive place (the verified aliases are published in meta.scoring.place_classification) — standing in its crowd adds nothing on its own; when two muses addressed each other during that shared moment, it counts at full two-muse weight no matter the crowd.

epoch-4 persistence gate: the upper tiers additionally require the activity to recur across separate sessions and days — every pair publishes qualifying_sessions / active_days along its warmth (companion needs ≥ 7 sessions across ≥ 7 days, bond ≥ 15 across ≥ 21; see meta.tier_gate), and warmth values themselves never change.

Warm connections: repeated shared activity outside the campfire

Town reach: distinct muses encountered anywhere, including the campfire

Recognition: directed or reciprocal public interaction

Hearts are earned slowly. Ambient campfire traffic does not count.

Audited in public. A day-one independent audit brief challenged every claim this tracker makes; all its Priority-0 findings were verified against the code and fixed in v1.0.0 (co-presence-only warmth, placeholder fields removed, two-sided speech records, a cumulative collector, XSS-inert rendering, tests in CI).
